The new ISS crew flew from the "Gagarin Launch"
On Wednesday, December 15 at 22:09 from the launch complex area number 1 of Baikonur cosmodrome rocket "Soyuz-FG" with the manned spacecraft "Soyuz TMA-20" successfully launched, which went to the ISS with international crew.
The rocket was set from "Gagarin's launch pad", the place where a little bit less than 50 years ago the first man flew into space. The International Space Station crew went to the 26 th and 27 th long expeditions: the captain - Dmitry Kondratyev Space Agency astronaut, flight engineer of NASA astronaut Catherine Coleman and ESA Paolo Nespoli.
Roskosmos reported that after the removal of third-stage rocket Media Soyuz TMA-20 was launched into the orbit. Since then, Moscow Region PCO in Korolev began to control its flight. According to the reports from the orbit and telemetry data, the flight goes well.
