    The MiG-31 resulted from profound modernization of the MiG-25 fighter-interceptor. The MiG 31 is designed to be integrated into the national air-defense system and is capable of continued patrolling and destroying of all types of aerial targets including small-size winged missiles, helicopters and high-altitude supersonic aircraft at day- or night time under any weather conditions and extensive electronic warfare.

Our company can offer you to fly the up-to-date MiG-31 fighter to the stratosphere to the altitude of 22-23 km with a minimum number of associated services – i.e. excluding hotel accommodation in Russia, transfers, excursions, etc.

 

The MiG-31 flight to the stratosphere (22-23 km) includes: 
- obtaining of official clearances to visit the “Sokol” Aviation Plant in Nizhny Novgorod and make a flight in the up-to-date MiG-31 jet fighter;
- preparation for flight in the MiG-31 fighter at the airbase of “Sokol” Plant: brief health examination, meeting and a conference with the fighter pilot, preflight briefing on the rules of conduct and safety measures during the flight. Changing into a special high-altitude suit, training on how to use the oxygen mask during the flight. Transfer to the MiG-31 site, aircraft preflight inspection done together with the pilot;

- supersonic flight to the stratosphere (45-50 min). Taking photographs with the pilot in front of the aircraft after the flight, ceremony of giving a personal certificate on performing the flight to the stratosphere onboard the MiG-31 fighter, visit to the aviation museum of “Sokol” Plant;

- guide-translator for 6 hours  (English, German, Spanish, French, Italian);
- transfer with our car on the day of the flight (10 hours)

Please note, that we are offering the minimum package of services and activities pertaining to the flight preparation and the MiG-31 flight to the stratosphere itself.

You should take care about all issues of accommodation in Russia, transfers and excursions individually.

- professionally-made movie covering the preparation for the MiG-31 flight and the flight itself. Some footage will be made onboard the aircraft with a camera mounted in the cockpit. After the editing and DVD-authoring the movie will be sent to you via an express delivery service. The movie will come complete with a CD containing the photographs highlighting the progress of preparation for the flight at “Sokol” Plant.
