Spring flights of our tourists in MiG-29, dedicated to the 50th Anniversary of the flight of Yuri Gagarin into space!

On the 7th April, 2011 on the eve of celebrating the 50th Anniversary of the first flight of Yuri Gagarin into space, the heroic Russian tourist Helen Kolestnikova flew to the Edge of Space with Aerobatics in modern MiG-29 Fighter at the Nizhny Novgorod Aircraft Manufacturing Plant "Sokol"!
Helen from childhood was dreaming of becoming an astronaut, she liked the sky and space. And despite the fact that she is engaged in socio-political and commercial affairs, Helen was able to realize her childhood dream into reality and made this unique and exciting flight in MIG-29!
During the flight, performing aerobatic maneuvers, which were demonstrated by test pilot of "Sokol" airbase Andrew Pechenkin, Helen heroically endured overloads and proved the fact that women are often stronger than men ... Pilot demontsrated many aerobatics maneuvers - bells, loops, rolls and others. During the flight Helen briefly experienced overload from 3G to 8.2 G ... So, now everybody can see that the sky and aviation is not just for men!!!
Our Company "Country of Tourism" organizes demonstration flights in MiG-29 for tourists along with "Sokol" airbase. And anyone who dreams of making this unique flights and has no contraindications on health can do it!
