Itinerary of Zero-Gravity Flight Tour program
Attention! Now we are collecting a group for Zero Gravity Flight on July, 2012!
You can have the flight without tour. To know the prices for 2012 year, please, follow the link.
We can also organize the tour for you. Please, se the itinerary below.
First day:
After arriving in Moscow, you will be met in the airport by our guide (English speaking or any other languages you prefer). On the way to your hotel you will have a little tour round places of interest. We will help you to check-in to your hotel. Then you have free time.
Second day:
After having breakfast we shall take on a you Moscow city tour (Red Square, Lenin’s Tomb, Alexander Gardens, The St. Basil Cathedral, GUM Shopping Mall, New Convent, White House”, Poklonnaya Hill, “and the Arbat Area). After lunch, we will drive you to Star City (40 minutes by car from Moscow), where you will have a tour round the Gagarin Cosmonaut Training Center (GCTC). There, you will see each of the various technical means (TMCT), which are used on all stages of cosmonauts’ training, preparing for the flights and, in paricular, during the preflight events, such as Space flight conditions imitators (Hydrolab, Centrifuges, Pressure Chambers, Planetarium), Manned Space Vehicle Simulators, MSV and Onboard Systems Training Mockups, Flight Training Planes, Post Landing Activity Preparation Means. After that, you will have your medical check. Our doctors will check your blood pressure and your general health conditions. The Instructors from the Cosmonaut Training Centre will give you full instructions relative to your Zero-Gravity flight. After returning to Moscow, you can be free or if you wish, we can arrange Night City Tour round Moscow.
Third day:
After an early breakfast in the hotel (7:00 a.m.), we will take you to the Chkalovsky airbase where the aircraft lab. IL-76MDK is based. You will meet your personal instructors who will provide you safety during whole Zero-G flight. You will have detailed instructions on safety rules once inside the aircraft, and you will put on special outfits.
Once safety and suited up, you are ready for your Zero Gravity flight on the board of the Ilyushin 76 MDK.
Once you have safely landed, you will receive a Certificate about your flight with Zero-G.
If you would like, we will organize lunch with specialists from Yu. A. Gagarin Russian State Science Research Cosmonaut Training Center in Star City.
Forth day:
We can offer you two options how to spend this day:
- If you are tired of space, we suggest you a tour of Sergiyev Posad, the old city (north-east of Moscow) where the Monastery of the Holy Trinity (Troitse Sergiyeva Lavra) is situated. In the past, this famous monastery was used as the Residence of the Patriarch of All Russia but now, it attracts visitors with its rich collections of Icons and monuments of ancient Russian architecture. You will have plenty of time to revel the beauties of Sergiyev Posad and our company guide will tell you about each monastery. After this excellent tour you will be back to hotel.
- If you want to spend one more day with Space and to know everything about the journey ‘Man in Space’ we will go to the State Museum of the History of Cosmonautics named by K. E. Tsiolkovsky, probably the first in the world and definitely, the largest in Russia, and was organized with the personal assistance of S. P. Korolev and Y. A. Gagarin in 1967. Museum exhibits reveal the history of aeronautics, aviation and rocket-space engineering. Its collections represent the scientific heritage of K. E. Tsiolkovsky, the founder of theory of cosmonautics, famous inventor, and an author of philosophic and sociological works. The rooms of the Museum of Cosmonauts are designated to the history of space artifacts, from the first man-made satellite to modern permanent space stations. After completing the tour, you will be back to the hotel.
Fifth day:
After breakfast in the hotel we will drive you to Airport «Sheremetyevo».
