Flying the up-to-date combat fighters is the latest hot trend in VIP-vacations or VIP-tourism gaining more and more popularity around the world. While some time back watching the Earth from the altitude of 22-23 km and seeing practically the same as spacemen can was something only air-force pilots could enjoy, now every man of means can see the Earth virtually from Space and join the stars for an instant.

For quite some time the fighter jet tours in Russia were flown from Zhukovsky AF base (Moscow), however it’s been more than two years since such operations there were stopped.

Our company organized and starting from 2006 has successfully been performing official flights in MiG 29 and MiG 31 (analogue of MiG 25) jet fighters in the city of Nizhny Novgorod (450 km from Moscow) at the facility of Nizhny Novgorod Aviation Plant "Sokol".

The unique MiG-29 fighter will let you get dramatic impressions and a lot of adrenaline while performing normal and advanced aerobatics maneuvers. This fighter is on the air-force inventory list in 26 countries.

Flying the MiG 29 jet fighter may be recommended to those clients who "like it hot".

The flight envelope provides for various aerobatics maneuvers – from standard to most advanced, depending on one’s physical condition. There are two flight envelopes available for the MiG-29, which mostly differ in the duration of flight – 25 minutes and 45 minutes.

Maximum acceleration a client can experience during the flight may reach 7-8G with the minimum of 3-4 G.

It should be noted at that, that the flight envelope is quite flexible and it’s architected by the pilot depending on how the passenger feels. If the client feels well and composed during the aerobatics demonstration, the pilot will continue their performance then. If the passenger does not feel well, the flight will be diverted to a steady non-accelerated level flight letting the client pick-up oneself.

One should not get scared thinking that it is only young and physically strong men who can stand such a flight. We have substantial experience of organizing such flights for 65-year olds, as well as for women, who withstood all the G-loads well and were enjoying the flight indeed.

Russian Tour Program including flying the MIG 29 Fulcrum. There are two options on how you can get to Nizhny Novgorod to fly the up-to-date fighter:

• First option – arrive in Moscow, then a transfer to Nizhny Novgorod to perform the fighter flight and then back to Moscow when the flight is over;
• Second option – arrive in Nizhny Novgorod by a direct scheduled flight from Frankfurt (Germany) or Vienna (Austria) to perform the fighter flight;

TOUR - 1 (Moscow – Nizhny Novgorod - Moscow)

Day one: Arrival in Moscow. Meeting at the airport, transfer to the hotel Metropol 5. Check-in. Rest.

Day two: Breakfast at the hotel. Check out. Tour around Moscow in a company of a guide-translator. Lunch. Transfer to the railway station. Departure by train to Nizhny Novgorod in a 1st-class carriage (16.50). Arrival in Nizhny Novgorod (21.50). Meeting, transfer and check in to Alexandrovsky Garden Hotel 4*, the city’s best hotel. Rest.

Day three: Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to Nizhny Novgorod Aviation Plant "Sokol". Preparation for flight in MiG 29 fighter: brief health examination, meeting and a conference with the fighter pilot, preflight briefing on the rules of conduct and safety measures during the flight. Changing into a special high-altitude suit, training on correct use of the oxygen mask during the flight. Then you are transferred by motor-transport to the MiG 29 site. There together with the pilot you make the preflight inspection of the aircraft and take to the cockpit. The aerobatics flight in MiG 29 fighter (25 or 45 minutes as per your choice). On completion of the flight you take photographs with the pilot in front of the aircraft, you receive the personal certificate on performance of flight in MiG29 fighter, visit the aviation museum of "Sokol" Plant.

Day four: (back-up day for the flight in case of bad weather). Breakfast at the hotel. Check out. Car tour around Nizhny Novgorod in a company of a guide-translator. Lunch. Transfer to the railway station. Departure by train (1 class) to Moscow at 18.20.

Day five: Arrival in Moscow (00.55). Meeting at the railway station, transfer to hotel 5*. Check-in to hotel. Rest. Breakfast at the hotel. Check out (before 12.00). Transfer to airport. Departure from Russia.
