While some time back watching the Earth from the altitude of 22-23 km and seeing practically the same as spacemen can was something only air-force pilots could enjoy, now every man of means can see the Earth virtually from Space and join the stars for an instant …
        The unique high-altitude MiG 31 fighter-interceptor (an up-to-date analogue of MiG-25) will let you fly to the edge of space and thereat, as a matter of our earlier experience in making such flights, there won’t be any G-load sensations and impressions will overflow you!!
        For quite some time the fighter jet tours in Russia were flown from Zhukovsky AF base (Moscow), however it’s been more than two years since such operations there were stopped.
        Our company organized and starting from 2006 has successfully been performing official flights in the MiG-29 and the MiG-31 jet fighters in the city of Nizhny Novgorod (450 km from Moscow) at the facility of Nizhny Novgorod Aviation Plant “Sokol”

   Russian Tour Program including flying the MIG31 “Foxhound”

     There are two options on how you can get to Nizhny Novgorod to fly the up-to-date fighter:

First option – arrive in Moscow, then a transfer to Nizhny Novgorod to perform the fighter flight and then back to Moscow when the flight is over  

Second option – arrive in Nizhny Novgorod by a direct scheduled flight from Frankfurt (Germany) to perform the fighter flight

We are also ready to develop any individual tour made-to-order for you to include flying the fighter and visiting other Russian cities, St. Petersburg, for example. 

    

             TOUR - 1   (Moscow – Nizhny Novgorod - Moscow)

 Day one:
Arrival in Moscow. Meeting at the airport, transfer to the hotel Metropol 5*. Check-in. Rest.
Day two:

Breakfast at the hotel. Check out. Tour around Moscow in a company of a guide-translator. Lunch. Transfer to the railway station. Departure by train to Nizhny Novgorod in a 1^st-class carriage (16.50). Arrival in Nizhny Novgorod (21.50). Meeting, transfer and check in to Alexandrovsky Garden Hotel 4*, the city’s best hotel. Rest.   

Day three:
Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to Nizhny Novgorod Aviation Plant “Sokol”. Preparation for flight in the MiG-31 fighter: brief health examination, meeting and a conference with the fighter pilot, preflight briefing on the rules of conduct and safety measures during the flight. Changing into a special high-altitude suit, training on correct use of the oxygen mask during the flight. Then you are transferred by motor-transport to the MiG31 site. There together with the pilot you make the preflight inspection of the aircraft and take to the cockpit. Supersonic flight to the stratosphere (45-50 minutes). On completion of the flight you take photographs with the pilot in front of the aircraft, you receive the personal certificate on performance of flight onboard the MiG-31 to the stratosphere, visit  the aviation museum of “Sokol” Plant.

After finishing all activities at “Sokol” Plant you return to the hotel.

Rest at the hotel. Dinner in Russian restaurant in the evening. Free time.
Day four: (back-up day for the flight in case of bad weather)
Breakfast at the hotel. Check out. Car tour around Nizhny Novgorod in a company of a guide-translator. Lunch. Transfer to the railway station. Departure by train (1 class) to Moscow at 18.20. 

Day five:

Arrival in Moscow (00.55). Meeting at the railway station, transfer to hotel 5*. Check-in to hotel. Rest.

Breakfast at the hotel. Check out (before 12.00).
Transfer to airport. Departure from Russia.  

 
Price of Tour-1 for 2008 (Metropol Hotel 5* and Alexandrovsky Garden)    -  19,500 €

TOUR - 2   (Frankfurt, Germany – Nizhny Novgorod – Frankfurt, Germany)

  Day one:

Arrival in Nizhny Novgorod. Check in to Alexandrovsky Garden Hotel 4*, the city’s best hotel. Rest.
Day two:

Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to Nizhny Novgorod Aviation Plant “Sokol”. Preparation for flight in the MiG31 fighter: brief health examination, meeting and a conference with the fighter pilot, preflight briefing on the rules of conduct and safety measures during the flight. The Price of Tour-2 includes:
