Etnorgraphic and ecological Adventure Tour: “Back to nature - Russian village of the XX century, its way of life and special features”

If you feel that under pressure of the civilization and think that your life energy is coming to an end then it is you for whom we set up a unique relaxing ethnographic tour to Russian village, where you can find a place to stay alone, admire the nature and learn more about distinctive village world far from the city’s rat race.
There you will be isolated from the city’s pressure and you will have wonderful opportunity to learn basic features and skills of rural inhabitants and delight the greatness and power of Russian nature.
You will not only relax from the city life but also look at your being from the other side.

Day 1 (Sunday).
Morning arrival in Moscow (on Sunday) where you will be met at the airport by our English-speaking company representative (we can also have people who speak other languages).
Sightseeing tour of Moscow in the business class vehicle accompanied by English speaking guide (or the guide with other language). The tour lasts for 3-4 hours during which time you will visit the historic part of the city including- Red Square, Alexander Gardens, Manezh square the Cathedral of Christ the Savior and enjoy the incredible views of the Kremlin from Sophia embankment and the monument to Peter the Great, House on Embankment. You will also have chance see some of the other magnificent and world known places of Moscow including the New Maiden Convent (without getting in), the Necropolis (new and old cemetery of the Maiden Convent, where our most outstanding people were laid to rest), MGY (Moscow State University, which situated in one of the key Stalin style buildings which dominate Moscow skyline), Sparrow Hills, Poklonnaya hill, Triumphal Arch, Kutuzov Avenue, New Arbat Street, Boulevard ring , Theatre Square, Tverskaya Street. and Pushkin Square.
Following the tour we will have lunch at one of the top restaurants in the city and discuss the program of the tour.
Then transfer to the recreation facility of the village type that is situated in 180 km from Moscow. You will be accompanied by our company interpreter.
Arrival in the recreation facility. Check-in.
You will have an excursion in the camp where you will see the houses of the village type, talk with local people, get acquainted with infrastructure of your cottage, also you will see the stable and kennels.
Following the tour you will have dinner and have some free time to relax and prepare for the next day.
Day 2 (Monday). Examination of the village way of life.
After breakfast in the cottage you will study the mode of village life.
Accompanied by our professional instructor and the guide you will learn how to fire a furnace, to whet a scythe, how to mow the grass at the collective farm and work in the vegetable garden, swimming in the river.
Then you will have lunch.
Following the tour you will have a unique opportunity to drive a tractor and plough the field.
You will study how to cut and prepare the firewood.
Then you will go to the traditional Russian bath, where you will have little lection about the history of the bath and features of it and how to use it and of course to have it. You will have bath with honey and tea that was made of different herbals according to the traditional Russia recipe.
After that you will have dinner and free time to relax.
Day 3 (Tuesday). Cattle-breeding day.
Breakfast. This day you will visit the Institute of horse breeding where you will see the horses being bread and looked after.
After that you will be taken out to visit the museum of the Institute of Apiculture with our experienced bee keeper. You will learn how should be made honey, one of the most valuable products of our time. Then you will see the process of breeding the bees and you will try the natural honey.
Lunch.
Following the tour you will continue learning how to clean and saddle horses. Then you will ride the horse.
You will afterwards be demonstrated how to prepare the food for cattle and how to feed them. Then our specialist will show you how to milk. You will be given training course how to make natural products from milk (butter, curds, sour cream, baked milk).
Dinner. Some free-time to relax.
Then you will be invited to see the traditional night pasture of the cattle (23:00-1:00). It is an unforgettable spectacle followed by fomentation of the fire, preparation of shashlik, drinking the mead and koumiss (fermented mare’s milk) and hears interesting tales. You will have a great pleasure of wonderful night nature and communication with local people!
Day4 (Wednesday).
Breakfast. Next you will be taken out to see the historic monuments and other interesting places of the region. You will be accompanied by our company representative in our business-class vehicle during this sightseeing tour. You will visit the wonderful historic Kremlin and local history museum. You will learn about the history of the region.
You will see wonderful places with rich history and an outstanding Russian monastery complex in which you will be shown the famous Holy Fount. It is said that those who swim there will be healed and will be cleansed of their sins.
Then you will have lunch at one of the top restaurants in the region.
Departure to the village.
Free time. Dinner.
Day 5 (Thursday). Fishing day.
Early wake-up then breakfast and you will be transferred to the fishing destination. You will be accompanied by our fishing specialist and you will be given training course how to prepare tacking, lure and what lure to use so that to catch the fish. You will try different ways of fishing.
You will go boating on a motorboat. After a successful fishing you will be taught how to prepare traditional fish soup made on fire. You can also swim in the river.
Afterwards you will be taken back to the camp.
Then you will have some time to relax.
In the evening we will organize the festive dinner for you. Singers will sing pleasant songs for you and according players will play for you.
You will have the chance to sit in a good company of Russian people and to try dishes from the stove, national snacks, alcohol drinks and also hot dishes of roaster(suckling pig) and specially made village porridge.
You will be written into a special journal of guests of honor. Then we will put a memorable plate where it will be written you name and date of your stay-in.
You will be given a Personal Memorable Certificate of your experience in village life.
After that there will be a photo session with village people.
Day 6 (Friday). Breakfast. Check-out from the recreation facility.
Transfer to Moscow. Lunch at one of the top restaurants in Moscow.
Transfer to the airport with a representative of our company.
