Itinerary of traditional 7 day tour in Moscow

Day 1:

After landing in one of the Moscow’s airports and clearance through our customs you will be met by our travel agency representative speaking multiple languages. He/she will help you reach your hotel. This is how you start your holidays in Moscow and holidays in Russia.

While driving to the hotel you will have your city tour of Moscow made so that you will be able to get acquainted to the capital. You will see the most interesting and picturesque landmarks like beautiful Red Square and close to it famous Alexander Gardens. You will also have the chance to see all valuable spots. Among them there are GUM Shopping Mall, St. Basil cathedral, the State Historical Museum and even if you feel like it go inside Lenin’s Tomb. You will be shown New Maiden Convent with its cemetery where most celebrated and noted people is buried. You will see the view of all Moscow at Sparrow hills and marvel at tremendous building of MGY. Poklonnaya Hill and Kutuzosky Avenue, New Arbat Street, famous Squares Pushin, Lubyanka and Theatre ones will be at close quarters while you are on sightseeing tour of Moscow.

Day 2:

After having eaten breakfast and, we hope, “raring to go” our company representative take you to Red Square. There our rep will make take you on an excursion through the Kremlin churches and Armory Chamber that is a real wonder and was included to the UNESCO world heritage.

In continuation of the tour in Russia you might have lunch (optional) in the city restaurant after which you will carry on your travel in Moscow in the matchless Moscow Metro (Underground train system) accompanied by another of our Russian guides and have a walk along the first fully-pedestrian street of Moscow – Old Arbat. Then you will go back to the hotel where you will have free time to relax.

Day 3:

Continuing your vacations in Russia this day following breakfast you will continue your tour in Moscow you will set out to the world of Fine Arts. Our travel agency rep. will be with you all day long and will make an trip to the Pushkin Museum of Fine Arts that houses the tremendous quantity of different Russian and international works of art. After the tour in the Pushkin Museum of Fine Arts you will have a snack if you wish and some free time. Then you will be transported to the hotel to relax after your exciting tour of Moscow ready to continue. In the evening we can, if you choose (as an option) organize a visit to the Theatre or Circus, places really worth-going to.

Day 4:

Everyone who travels inside Russia should never miss the opportunity of going to Sergiyev Posad, the antique city situated approximately 70 Km to the north-east from Moscow. You will see there The Monastery of the Holy Trinity (or Troitse Sergieva Lavra) that used to be Patriarch residence. It acquired such fame for greates collections of icons of Andrei Rublov and valuable items of Old Russian architecture.

To avoid traffic jams it is necessary to get up earlier than usually, have breakfast and set out to this gorgeous city. You will spend all day long there and have a lot of time to enjoy the beauties of Sergiyev Posad with our guide providing full explanations about everything and answer all your questions. Afterwards you will move back to the hotel for a bit of rest after such long travel in Russia day.

Day 5:

The fifth day of your travel in Russia has a breathtaking journey in store for you. A trip to the State Tretyakov Picture Gallery that is indeed the biggest national treasury of Russian fine arts and one of the most gorgeous world galleries.

After the meal in your hotel you and our company guide will go to The State Tretyakov Picture Gallery where you will have, we hope, a pleasant walk through the different epochs of Russian art. At a later time of tour in Russia you will have meal in restaurant in Moscow and then spend time to yourself.

Day 6:

On your last full day, we have decided to enrich you knowledge about the period of war and the details of life at that times in Russia.

After breakfasting you will be met by the person assisting you within your holidays in Russia. Together you will see to the well-known Poklonnaya Hill. You will see Museum-Panorama “Borodino Battlefield” or the Museum of WWII (it is up to you). You will be told about difficult days and sad pages of our history.

Awhile later you will be given some spare time to spend on your own. Then you will be invited to the 1st amusement park. This incredible adventure should be included in your list of must-see spots. There you will check the All-Russia Exhibition Centre VDNH VVC and Botanic Gardens.
Afterwards you will be transported back to the hotel and be free.

Day 7:

Here we are to part. Your travel in Russia and travel in Moscow is coming to an end.
You should pack your clothes and check-out from the hotel in Moscow, when you will be taken to the airport. On your way there we would really like to know your feelings, what you points attracted you while you were on Russian holidays and complaints (if any), what you liked about our service and what you would like to see improved in order to make our tours in Russia most convenient.
