Itinerary for tour Kostroma - Shelikovo - Plyos

3 days/2 nights

Day 1.

Meet our company rep in your Moscow hotel. Departure from Moscow at about 8 a.m. On the way to Kostroma we will fill you in about the Golden ring bus tour. When you arrive in Kostroma, you will be able to try our best traditional food in one of the city's restaurants.

After lunch you will continue your city tour in Kostroma. You will see many charming city landmarks including: The Trading Arcades, Epiphany Monastery, St. Ipathy Monastery with an inside visit of Trinity Cathedral and other tourist attractions.

Finishing the Kostroma tour will be taken to your hotel for check-in and some free time. Later, in the evening, we will organize a dinner for you with fire-making, Russian songs, and traditional types of meals, with some amusing games and dances.

Day 2.

Breakfast in the hotel and then check-out. You will be driven to Shelikovo about 120 Km from Kostroma. On arrival, you will eat out in a town restaurant and afterwards, you will set out for a tour to of the Ostrovsky Memorial Estate. The playwright lived there for 24 years. You will be able to see his house and grave and see deep into the atmosphere of the village way of life.

Following your Golden Ring bus tour you will be delivered to your hotel in Shelikovo. Some free time followed by dinner at the hotel.

Day 3.

Check out following your hotel breakfast and then set out for your Ples bus trip about 80 kms away. You will have a city sightseeing tour in the bus see one of the most beautiful places of the upper Volga River... a chance to see the famous Syndic Mountain, the museum of Levitan and the "Russian House" Museum. You will see a traditional Russian folk show.

Completing the city tour you will eat out in one of the city's restaurants and then you will return to Moscow.
