Itinerary for Nizhny Novgorod–Diveevo–Arzamas–Boldino

Day 1.
Arrival in Nizhny Novgorod by train (or by plane). There, our company rep will meet you and escort you to your hotel And assist with check-in.

After short rest in the hotel, you will embark on a sightseeing tour of Nizhny Novgorod visiting the Kremlin, Archangel Cathedral, the Nizhny Novgorod Fair, Annunciation monastery and Stroganov’s Church and various merchants" houses.

Following the bus tour of Nizhny Novgorod you will have some free time while we will organize your lunch for you. Only traditional meals will be served and you will be able to sample the best of Russian cuisine.

Then we will organize a walking tour around the historic centre of the city. You will be able to see typical Russian people in the street and a little of what life is like. You will see the sights in the centre and be able to walk along the Big Pokrovskaya St., the main pedestrian street in the city.

In the evening, we will have supper ready for you where the atmosphere will be warm and friendly so that you will can relax and enjoy your time.

Day 2.
Breakfast in the hotel, then check-out. We will leave for Arzamas, in Nizhny Novgorod. There you will have a bus tour around the city with a stop-off at the Resurrection Cathedral.

There you will eat in one of the local restaurants and then continue your Golden Ring bus tour by setting off for Diveevo.There you will be able to see the Diveev Monastery with inside visits of Trinity Cathedral and Holy Spring of Serafim Sarovsky. When you finish exploring the monastery’s attractions, you will be driven to the hotel in Boldino. Our company representative will help you to check-in. In the evening you will have dinner together with the group.

Day 3.
Breakfast in the hotel and check-out. Meet with our company rep. who will be take you on an excursion to the Pushkin House-Museum. You may walk through his park and estate if you like. Afterwards, you can go to the Luchinnik Grove and enjoy Russian outdoors.
Then you will have lunch and then leave for Nizhny Novgorod. We can happily drive you to the railway station or airport, depending on your itinerary.
