Itinerary of the tour in Russia “Two capitals: Moscow- Saint Petersburg”

Day 1:
You will arrive at Saint Petersburg airport where you will be greeted by your guide speaking multiple languages who will escort you to the hotel. You will start your vacations in Russia with a short tour around Saint Petersburg. The excursion will be made for you by trained travel guide-interpreter. The best favored tourist attractions will be demonstrated to you. You will get to see the picturesque Nevsky Avenue and Vasilevsky Island. The marvelous and graceful buildings the Kazan Cathedral, the, St. Isaac Cathedral, will create positive impression on the city. You will also be show the majestic Winter Palace, awesome Peter and Paul Fortress and a lot more. Upon reaching the hotel in Saint Petersburg you will be helped with registration. Then you will have time for yourself until morning.

Day 2:
You will eat at the hotel in St. Petersburg and later on the cultural starting point of your tour in Saint Petersburg will be Peterhof, the beautiful park ensemble and previously emperor’s residence. Your travel guide will show you all the complex of wonderful palaces and exquisite parks.

After the visit, you can eat somewhere or just relax.

Day 3:
After eating something delicious for breakfast you will be taken out to the Saint Petersburg area to the city called Pushkin. There you will have an unequalled opportunity to wander through another park and palace ensemble. You guide will lead the tour round the one of the beloved estates of Russian emperors and show you the best works of architectural designs.

To refresh yourself a little after the tour you can have lunch and then carry forward your Saint Petersburg tour exploring this wonderful city with an excursion to the Yusupov Palace. It is famous for the murder of Grigory Rasputin who was said to have supernatural powers and was able to gain respect from the Tsar's family. Day 4:
Starting with breakfast, then checking-out from the hotel before you continue your tour of Saint Petersburg with an excursion to another of Saint Petersburg’s symbol–the Peter and Paul Fortress. Peter the Great gave an order to build it. Firstly it played the role of a fortress and with the time acquired meaning of political prison. Not so far from there you will see Peter and Paul Cathedral where all the Russian Emperors and Empresses from Peter the Great to Alexander III were buried.

Day 5:
When you arrive at the railway station in Moscow you will be greeted by the guide from our company and after that you will go around Moscow in a vehicle. This short while in Moscow will help you to get acquainted to the most noted sights (sightseeing excursions). You will walk around Red Square and see all its landmark, than see the green island of our cosmopolitan city namely Alexander Gardens. Then you will drive to historic streets like Volhonka with visiting the cathedral of Christ the Savior, Prechistenka leading to the New Maiden Convent, famous nunnery for Nobel birth women. Then you will make a move towards Poklonnaya Hill and Kutuzosky avenue, go past "the White House" the Arbat area, and see the Bolshoy Theater and not least, the infamous ex-KGB building at Lubyanka.

When you enter the hotel our travel agency rep. will help you to register. Then you will have the time for yourself. You can walk around your hotel, go for a meal and taste typical Russian cuisine… believe us, it is very delicious, or simply crash and relax!

Day 6:
Breakfast starts your day in the hotel and then you will head for the Kremlin, the biggest fortress of the medieval times and nowadays the most important residence of president of Russian Federation. You will have the chance to get to know the historical Cathedrals and the Cathedral Square and explore the Armoury Chamber.

After this you will have lunch at a local area, and continue your tour in Moscow by exploring underground majestic "palaces of the Soviet times." These palaces are nothing other than Moscow Metro! These are rightfully said to be part one of the most beautiful underground stations in the world. Afterwards you will wander through Old Arbat Street, that turned into pedestrian street in Moscow. There are a lot to see there from street actors to luxury restaurants. Even Napoleon strode willfully along it!

At day’s end after a full cultural program you will return to the hotel where you can have time to yourself.

Day 7:
After eating in the hotel this final day of your tour in Russia our company assistant has in store for you, an excursion to the State Tretyakov Picture Gallery home to the national treasury of fine arts of Russia. It is a real paradise for keen on art, where you will be told about all centuries of development of Russian art.

On completion of this last tour in Russia you can have meal at one of the Moscow’s cafes or restaurants and then time for yourself.
