Tank rides in Russia, tour program and prices
Individual tour program
The standard program of the tour:
- Arrive at the base;
- Meeting with the instructor;
- Safety Briefing (please note that safety documentation will need to be signed at this time);
- If ordered, military uniforms will be issued at this time, along with tank helmets;
- The instructor will give you a brief history of the armoured vehicle in which you will be riding. Including its development, technical data and combat capabilities! There will also be a rundown of the roles and location of each crew member.
- Opportunity to take photographs of the equipment and technology;
- 1st Ride: Track 1…. Forest: Duration 30-40 minutes;
- 2nd Ride: Track 2…. Concrete Paved Section: Duration 30-40 minutes;
- Excursion to the base museum;
- Departure to a military tent or room to for meal (tea, coffee, mineral water, sandwiches, pastries, sweets).
- Departure to Moscow;
This ride involves laps of the forest course. Each team member can choose their position either on or inside the Armoured Fighting Vehicle. Remember that you can change position after each lap to experience each crew member’s role. This will give you an understanding of what it is, to be a Tanker!
This ride follows the same principal as the forest section:
Here you will see a large variety of military vehicles, ranging from World War I guns and the first armoured vehicles right through to modern combat equipment.
Amongst the exhibits you will find the very famous Katyusha rocket launcher and German Hanomag Sd.Kfz. 251. Along with other famous tanks and self-propelled guns of the Great Patriotic War and beyond.
The museum also has a great number replica tanks, including T-2, T-3, Tiger, Panther, KV-2. During your visit to the museum you will have ample opportunity to take pictures of the vehicles both inside and out. A guide is available for large groups.
The duration of the museum tour is 1-1.5 hours.
Duration of the program with transfer from Moscow is 6-7 hours.

Bigger groups can use 2 ore 3 tanks
The price includes:
Transfer to/from the base by luxury coach or car
Permission to visit the base
Equipment for each person, including armour, helmet and gloves
Tank driving program
The service of the Instructor, Tank Driver, Guide, Interpreter and base staff
Fuel and equipment
Refreshments
Permission for the taking of photos and video
Additional services:
Lunch with traditional dishes of Russian Army with vodka (instead of the coffee break).
Rent of military clothes for a tank trip.
Firing the tanks main gun (blank ammunition).
Firing the secondary weapons (blank ammunition).
Red Army Uniform (now it`s possible!).
Car crash (on request).
Notes:
Tours must be booked at least 7 days before.
Tourists cannot drive tanks and other equipment by themselves.
In case of bad weather, the forest road may be changed to the concrete path.
