Hydro-Space Training Tour

First day:

After arriving to Moscow you will be met in the airport by our guide (English speaking or any other languages you prefer). On the way to your hotel you will have a little excursion about places of interest you see. We will help you to accommodate in a hotel. After checking in hotel we offer you Moscow city tour (Red Square, Alexander Gardens, Lenin’s Tomb, GUM Shopping Mall, The St. Basil Cathedral, New Convent, “White House”, Poklonnaya Hill, Arbat Area).

Second day:

After having breakfast we will transfer you to Star City. Your space walk adventure will start with Medical check. Our doctors will check your blood pressure and your general health conditions. The instructors from Cosmonaut Training Centre will give information according your Hydrolab training. Then you will be dressed in special Space Suit Orlan DMA and have instruction how to move in it. Your Orlan-DMA Suit (weight on ground about 125 kg) will be catched by a hook (and you are inside in this little own space-craft), and then you will discharged into the unbelievable deep Hydrolab basin. You will have the great opportunity to write your name in free space mission in space underwater stimulator. After mission is completed you will have excursion in the Gagarin Cosmonaut Training Center (GCTC). You will see the complex of various technical means (TMCT), which are used on all stages of cosmonauts’ training for the flights and during the preflight events, such as Space flight conditions imitators (Hydrolab, Centrifuges, Pressure Chambers, Planetarium), Manned Space Vehicle Simulators, MSV and Onboard Systems Training Mockups, Flight Training Planes, Post Landing Activity Preparation Means. If you wish in the evening we will organize special dinner with specialist from Yu. A. Gagarin Russian State Science Research Cosmonaut Training Center in Star City.

Third day:

We can offer you two options how to spend this day:

  1. If you are tired of space, we suggest you a tour of Sergiyev Posad, the old city (north-east of Moscow) where the Monastery of the Holy Trinity (Troitse Sergiyeva Lavra) is situated. In the past, this famous monastery was used as the Residence of the Patriarch of All Russia but now, it attracts visitors with its rich collections of Icons and monuments of ancient Russian architecture. You will have plenty of time to revel the beauties of Sergiyev Posad and our company guide will tell you about each monastery. After this excellent tour you will be back to hotel.
  2. If you want to spend one more day with Space and to know everything about the journey ‘Man in Space’ we will go to the State Museum of the History of Cosmonautics named by K. E. Tsiolkovsky, probably the first in the world and definitely, the largest in Russia, and was organized with the personal assistance of S. P. Korolev and Y. A. Gagarin in 1967. Museum exhibits reveal the history of aeronautics, aviation and rocket-space engineering. Its collections represent the scientific heritage of K. E. Tsiolkovsky, the founder of theory of cosmonautics, famous inventor, and an author of philosophic and sociological works. The rooms of the Museum of Cosmonauts are designated to the history of space artifacts, from the first man-made satellite to modern permanent space stations. After completing the tour, you will be back to the hotel.

Fourth day:

After breakfast in the hotel we will drive you to Airport «Sheremetyevo».
