The Air Force Central Museum in Monino is a unique aviation museum with a large collection of real planes, helicopters, gliders and other aviation equipment. You will see the history of aviation industry starting in 1909 up to the present day. If you are a professional in the aviation field or you want to know more about different planes and helicopters, you definitely should visit this museum. You would not be disappointed!

The Monino Museum was established in 1958 at the aircraft repair base and opened to visitors in 1960. At that time, the exhibition contained 572 items and 14 planes. Since then, enormous effort has been put into searching for and finding, then renovating and repairing many aircraft. Planes of World War II, such as Po-2, Pe-2, Tu-2, DB-3, SB, IL-10 and many others were found and restored to the museum collection. Today, you will find more than 37,000 rare items covering the six halls of the exhibition.

The Museum in Monino collection keeps growing and continually attracts increasing numbers of tourists from over the world.

The museum is opened for visiting daily from 9:30 till 13:30 and from 14:15 till 17:00, on Saturday from 9:00 till 14:00. The days off: Wednesday and Sunday.

Tour takes approximately 5 hours.
